This notice explains how BlackFrog Ltd ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or contact us. BlackFrog Ltd is the data controller for that data. Our company details are at the foot of this page.

The data we collect

Website visits: when you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver the pages, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We do not use this information to identify you.

Enquiries: if you email us, we collect your name, email address and anything you include in your message.

Bookings: if you book a call, we receive the details you enter in the booking form, such as your name, email address and any notes.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or other tracking tools. Fonts and images are served from our own hosting rather than from third parties.

The "Book a call" button opens Google Calendar's appointment scheduling page inside this website. It is only loaded when you click the button, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads. Google's privacy policy applies to that service.

How we use your data

We use your data to operate and secure this website, to respond to your enquiries, to arrange and hold calls you book with us, and to discuss working together.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running this website and responding to people who contact us. Where you contact us about working with us, we also process your data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Amazon Web Services, which hosts this website.

Google, which provides our email (Google Workspace) and call booking (Google Calendar).

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for longer only if we go on to work together and need them for our business records. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed to run and secure the website.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format.
